MILFORD MAN ARRESTED AFTER RUNNING DOWN A PEDESTRIAN WITH HIS CAR

For Immediate Release Saturday, May 4th, 2024

 On Saturday May 4th, 2024 at approximately 4:09am the Milford Police Department was dispatched to Milford Regional Hospital for a male who walked in for treatment after being struck by a motor vehicle.  The victim in question told investigating officers he had a verbal argument with the suspect at approximately at 2:28am after alerting the vehicle operator he was parked in the middle of the road.  After walking away, the victim heard the acceleration of an engine before being struck and upended over the vehicle.  Milford Police Patrolman then responded to the scene of the collision and located items belonging to the victim and pooling blood.

                    Through victim testimony and the investigation of the Milford Police Detective Bureau and CEMLEC Accident recon, officers were able to locate the suspect vehicle and the operator, Alejandro Gonzalez, 28, of Milford, MA.  Gonzalez was placed under arrest at 5:48am and charged with the following.
