K-9 UNIT
The Milford Police K-9 Unit is comprised of two dual-purpose canines, K-9 Kodak, and K-9 Titan. K-9 Kodak is a 4-year-old Belgian Malinois that was born in the United States and is handled by K-9 Officer Patrick Motuzas. K-9 Kodak is trained and certified in patrol function which includes locating lost or missing persons, fleeing criminals, evidence recovery, and building searches as well as narcotic detection. K-9 Titan is a 6-year-old German Shepherd that was imported to the United States from Slovakia and is handled by Officer Brian Sanchioni. K-9 Titan is trained and certified in patrol functions as well as explosive and firearm detection.
The Town of Milford are part of the CEMLEC K-9 Unit (Central Massachusetts Law Enforcement Council) which serves most of the Worcester County cities and towns. K-9 Kodak is also part of the CEMLEC SWAT team. Both K-9 Kodak and K-9 Titan have led to the successful finds of many individuals and are part of keeping our community safe!
