On September 11th, 2024, at approximately 1PM, the Milford Police Detective Bureau, in coordination with the Boston and Worcester offices of the ATF (Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives), Homeland Security Investigations and Massachusetts State Police Gang Unit brought to conclusion a 9-month investigation into the possession and trafficking of illegal firearms.
“This falls in line with our initiative for the past year to target guns and illicit drugs in our community.” – Milford Chief of Police Robert Tusino remarked following the arrest.
In February 2024, with the help of regional ATF agents, the Milford Police Detective Bureau began an investigation into the presence of illegal, large capacity firearms in Milford. Using multi-faceted investigation techniques, it was discovered that the criminal network spanned multiple New England and East Coast communities.
In the morning hours of September 11th, 2024, members of the joint investigation began surveillance on 61 South Bow St. and 27 Grove St. in Milford. At approximately 1PM, Detectives and Federal Agents entered the residences to take the suspects into custody without incident or injury to all involved. Seized from the scene were the following firearms.

The suspects were transferred to State and Federal facilities following booking and are charged with the following crimes.
