On Friday, Feb. 16, at approximately 10 a.m., Milford Police Detectives assisted Blackstone Police along with members of the Blackstone Valley Drug and Counter Crime Task Force (represented by Northbridge, Sutton and Millbury Police), the Worcester DEA Tactical Diversion Squadron, and the U.S. Postal Inspection Service in executing a search warrant on Michelle Ln in Blackstone.

Following the months-long investigation Michael Pitler and his son Zachary Pitler both of Blackstone, MA were placed under arrest and charged with the following.

MICHAEL PITLER, AGE 45, OF BLACKSTONE, was arrested and charged with:

Possession of a Class B Substance

ZACHARY PITLER, AGE 21, OF BLACKSTONE, was arrested and charged with:

Trafficking Cocaine (More than 100 grams less than 200 grams)
Possession of a Firearm Without a License to Carry
Possession of a Firearm With a Defaced Serial Number
Possession of Ammunition Without a Firearms Identification Card
Possession of a Class B Substance (More than 100 grams)
Intent to Distribute a Class B Substance
Possession of a Class C Substance (More than 100 grams)
Intent to Distribute a Class C Substance
Possession of a Class D Substance (More than 300 grams)
Intent to Distribute a Class D Substance
Possession of a Class E Substance (More than 50 grams)
Intent to Distribute a Class E Substance
