Milford’s annual 4th of July fireworks display takes place this evening, July 5th. The event is expected to start at approximately 9:30pm. While we have increased manning due to the amount of visitors we encounter, we ask that you expect traffic delays in many of the main roads of travel. When commuting please travel safely, being vigilant for unexpected pedestrians and congested traffic in the roadways. Below is a list of areas to expect detours and delays

1. Cedar at Dilla Street (Road blocked going south, detour onto Dilla Street)

2. Sumner Street open to 1-way traffic southbound (towards Main Street)

3. Cedar at Hamilton Street (Road closed to southbound traffic)

4. Hamilton at Cedar Street (No left turn, right turn only)

5. Cedar at Ravenna Street (No left turn, right turn only)

6. Cedar at Naples Street (No left turn, right turn only)

7. Purchase at Dilla Street (Detour left sign)

8. Cap Auto Parts Cedar St. (Road Closed, right turn only)

9. Sumner at Lincoln Street (road closed towards Granite)

10. Sumner at Lincoln Street (detour up Lincoln Street)

11. Sumner at Mechanic Street (road closed, detour up Mechanic Street)
